Now in its 7th year, the Steamboat Wine Festival has become a true highlight of “Steamboat in the Summertime.”
After all, when you combine fabulous food, scenic views, and wines for every palate, how could you possibly go wrong?
This year’s Festival runs August 1-5 and kicks off on Wednesday evening with the “Farm to Barn Wine Dinner.”
Probably one of the favorites of the long “wine weekend” is Thursday’s Wine on the Mountain Kickoff Celebration. This event takes place at Thunderhead (top of the gondola), offering breathtaking views, fabulous wines, heavy apps, one-on-one time with your favorite winery, and music make the kickoff event the talk of the weekend.
